In August 2023, everything changed. While traveling through Latin America, founders Thomas Patrick Klein and Maggie Chahoud came face-to-face with the harsh reality of animal suffering. Stray dogs and cats wandered the streets, unseen and unaided. In that moment, they knew compassion couldn’t be confined by borders. What they witnessed ignited a movement—The Animal Alliance—to reimagine the future of animal welfare.
