Founder
Thomas, founder of the international nonprofit The Animal Alliance, is driven by a passion for creating positive impact. An animal lover, world traveler, and minimalist living advocate, he champions resilience and purpose-driven work to inspire meaningful change in animal welfare.
				Brooke Moreland
Chief Development Officer
Brooke Moreland, PhD joins the Animal Alliance as the Chief Development Officer, excited to provide leadership and shape to emerging flagship programs at the organization. Dr. Moreland is a research scientist and people-based systems engineer with deep experience supporting grassroots organizations through relationship management and strategic design. Her background spans higher education, media and research incubation, and program operations. She has led regional and national initiatives, secured corporate partnerships, and built community-centered research processes. Her work focuses on transformational leadership as a vehicle for addressing systemic inefficiencies and gaps and for advancing institutional sustainability. Brooke holds degrees from Butler University, Indiana University-Bloomington, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Education program. She serves as Publications & Research Chair for the Peace & Justice Studies Association and is principal investigator at Leading Social Change. She is also listed in the U.S. Antarctic Scientists Directory. Brooke works to live—finding joy in time with loved ones, writing, traveling, and exploring the topics of Antarctica and quantum physics as an interest.
				Juliette Monroy
Director of Communications
Juliette Monroy, our Director of Communications has always been an advocate for animals and adoption, she believes that The Animal Alliance’s approach is the best way to lower animal homelessness and make sure as many dogs and cats have a loving home as they should
				Kaileigh Severini
Director of Development
Kaileigh is an avid lover of Philosophy and life long learner, who recently completed a second degree in Philosophy. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Kaileigh enjoys spending time outside with her rescue husky as much as possible. Kaileigh is an engaging, dynamic, leader with a passion for animal welfare. Utilizing strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support for animals everywhere.
				Jane Kohan
Head of Development for Animal Welfare Initiatives.
Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, Nature Conservation proponent, an Ethology enthusiast and above all, a devoted animal mum. With a professional background in Research and Technology, Marketing and Linguistics, Jane believes in the immense power of education and community engagement to foster global biocentrism and compassionate action in the animal welfare and impacted communities. Jane can’t wait to see how you use your voice and have your compassion become your legacy!

Website Manager & Technical Lead
Responsible for the website of The Animal Alliance, I manage everything from site architecture and functionality to content integrity and user experience. My mission is to make our digital platform a powerful extension of our animal-welfare work — supporting outreach, donor engagement, and global impact.

Angie is an Executive Assistant and Content Specialist with a talent for turning ideas into action and stories into impact. Balancing creative strategy with executive support, she ensures smooth operations while helping the brand connect authentically with global audiences.

Chiara is our Youth Ambassador and self-proclaimed biggest cat lover in the world. Passionate about animal welfare and education, she inspires children and young people to take action for animals through compassion, creativity, and community. With her boundless energy and kind heart, Chiara helps The Animal Alliance make caring for animals fun, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
